Not perfect

Liar liar, panties on fire.

Found an article online through idle surfing, thought it was interesting.

"This survey shows that the guy who's most attractive to our readers is not your average Hollywood hunk," said Playgirl editrix Jill Sieracki. "It's the average Joe who came up on top. Women are practical about their choices, and they're smart."

New York matchmaker Janis Spindel, a self-described specialist at setting up "highly successful, well-educated, attractive professionals," confirmed the survey's findings. "It's scary, but women don't care [about looks]," she said. "Men are very superficial and very shallow."

A number of things run through my head, at this point in time :

1) DING! Hell yes! I like my men with laughlines (aka wrinkles) and a belly. Laughlines are important! The MasterChief has a mass of them and I love them to bits.

2) I tend to stay away from the beautiful, metrosexual ones because (i) they're probably gay and (ii) I refuse to go out with a man that spends more time in the bathroom that I do.

3) Why blame men for being superficial? If you had really taken the time to observe them (hello, anyone home?) you would realise they're not wired like women do? I swear half the problems of this bloody planet are people's inabilities to accept other people's differences. The other half is politics, but that's another bloody story. I could rant about this point alone for half a day.....
