Thoughts

- warning : idle ramblings -

I've had more than a lot of time at home.

It's a little strange, but with no computer at home, I find myself looking for something to do. The other day, I woke up, then did french toast. Panfried bread for over an hour. (it was a LOT of french toast. lol) Then ate, then prepared dinner a couple of hours later. Why is that strange, you ask? Because I'd normally be on the comp, surfing, blogging, and generally not be in the kitchen.

Not that I cannot be domestic. I am actually fairly well trained in the domestics department.
*wry grin*
But it's just that I am so used to having internet on demand that sometimes, it became a bit of a bugger looking for something to keep my hands busy with. Oh yes, I could plonk myself down in front of the TV. I have loads of movies to go through. And all my books. But I can only vegetate for so long before I become restless and since last week was a long weekend for me too.... ach, you can well imagine.

I can well imagine how being a parent would make me concerned about my children sitting and getting zonked out on crappy TV.

Ach, good thing I'm not planning on kids, eh?

Wow no computer. I don't want to imagine life like that. ;) It is kinda weird isnt it. To actually do the stuff you use to do before there was a internet.
I have to be honest all three of my children have computers and televisions in there rooms and they dont spend more then two hours a day on them. I guess 'cause they have them they dont feel compelled to sit in front of them all day.

Greg - I am not sure what is surprising me more. That you atually have *three* kids. Or that they don't spend more than 2 hours on either comp or TV per day. *chuckles*

You think You are suprised I have three kids how do you think I feel. I never wanted kids but they just kept coming. LOL
My children just don't have enough time in the day to spend on the computer. Between school, dance, riding, lessons, choir, studying, and music lessons just don't leave much time for the computer.

Peace

3 is good, Greg. 2 can always gang up on the other. And turn and turn about!

My childhood was just like that - I have 2 other siblings.
