What's in a name?

Rob and cube have seen fit to quesion my vampiric qualities.

Doh! I don't have any, as a matter of fact!

The handle 2Vamp was picked when I discovered the internet 11+ years ago. I wanted to go online, I needed a handle. And a quick (I was inspired!) decision was made. I would be 2Vamp. BUT! But! It was really be meant as : to vamp it up online.

Vampirism is not something Asians are exposed to. Only much later, after many inappropriate invitations, comments; and after dozens of web searches, did I realise that people read my handle the wrong way.

Nope - not interested in blood 2
Nope - not even close

Sometimes, I wonder about names and the qualities associated with them. If I were a vamp, would it not mean that I would flounce and prance online, attempting to beguile and entrance?

Sometimes, I wonder if a name could be used tongue in cheek.

Sometimes, I wonder if I will use the handle 2Vamp when I'm 60; when prancing online becomes a farce and an absurdity.

Sometimes, usually most times actually, I feel like I really am too lazy to think up a clever and witty handle. Those times often end with an "Argh! I don't give a shit anymore" *chuckles*

So what's in a name? My real one is Fiona. My full name is Fiona Kathleen Hogan, which cannot get more Irish. (A fact the MasterChief loves, since he's of Irish stock too) I answer to Fi. Kathleen NEVER gets a response. Me? A Kathleen? Kathleen's conjure an image of sweet young things, all delicate and soft and OH so girly.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA.
