Somewhat recharged. Long way to go.

Haven't blogged much,
Dead tired, physically and mentally.

It has dawned on me that my set of shifts have been particuarly sucker like. I had 9 D shits last month and 6 As. D works from 2-11PM and A works from 7am to 4pm. And if my colleagues hadn't approached me to bitch about their own shifts, I would never have known.

Fi?? How many As do you have?? I have 3!! So many? You think you have have problems? I have 6 came the quick reply. Oh. Ok. I cannot complain to you then. And she slunk off quietly. And word has spread. No one has asked me how my shifts are for Sept.

Fortunately, the timings are more evenly spread out next month. Otherwise I'd have kicked a fuss. As only a fellow service provider can kick. Heh.

But I digress..... off to the beach last Sat with Bernie again. We tried to catch another sunset and thought to stay longer this time.

Sea eagles as they soar back inland to roost for the night.

You cannot make out much in this pic. But I simply have to mention how peaceful it is to watch these birds wing overhead. We were lucky, that evening. We counted 4 pairs! 4 pairs! Amazing.

Then we noticed the sunset.
Isn't that peculiar? It looks like someone's lopped off half the sky.

We sat way past sundown.
I came prepared, this time, and had candles flickering around us as we enjoyed the night breeze. There's something about candle-light that keeps things serene. However, Bernie suggested tea-lights next time. They ARE easier to manage and easier to light. But I'm not sure if the tea-light holders will also keep out the wind. Bottles are harder to lug around, but the candles don't go out. We shall see :)

By the way, one normally cuts through Changi Village to get to Changi Beach if you're getting food and drink. And as we wandered around, we saw moggies! Yes! Changi Village is kitty heaven! haha.

The cats are normally well fed and don't give a shit about all these humans walking around. They rule, and they know it.

These 2 were so cute. Another kitty was walking towards them and we managed to catch them all lined up.

It was really funny.... as I snapped away, old ladies walking past called out to us in chinese so cute!so cute! take home! take home!

Cuddle worthy moggy :)
See the tiny white spot? See the fur meeting towards the middle on her chest? My fingers itched to reach out and give away scritches!

Anyways, blogging will continue to be light, methinks, until I an get out of my rut.
