Blue!

So damned sleepy. These back to back early morning shifts are not meant for late night owls aka me. Went down for a smoke, hoping to wake up.

And oh my, what a morning.
Clear blue skies, brisk breezes, gorgeous shadows etched everywhere.

I never knew how important shadows were. When the entire island was wreathed and shrouded in the damn haze from Indonesia, everything was grey and colourless. Indistinct, cheerless. During the day, there was light, but nothing was defined. I felt.... .strangely.... very cheerless.


But to-day? Sunshine and shadows. Gorgeous!
