Very early morning shift today.
Usual mad mad rush.
And I am off to a good start.
Caught Dad as he readied for this morning's bike rider.
Caught taxi with no waiting time. A fast driver to boot.
Managed to hit every traffic light when it was green.
Got my breakfast with no queue.
I arrived at work, a 7am shift, with 25 minutes to spare. I am sitting here having breakfast and am totally amazed. This is the shift that gives me a lot of problems and if I am late for work, yes, it's because I'm so used to pulling the late shifts and sleeping at 4am that I have a very hard time getting up at 0530.
Plus I was up with a new book and yes, you guessed it, coudln't put it down and yes, right again, I finally slept at 4+ am.
So. A perfect start! I seriously hope it sets the tone for the rest of the day....
UPDATE
I didn't last... had to take a nap during lunch time. Man, I'm getting old.

Man, it passed real quick! lol. I was sleepy for the entire morning!
I appreciate that you, being such an early morning bird, might find my groanings amusing but heck, your morningness is balanced by my eveningness *chuckles*
