This was odd.

No, not the article about how a Pakistani girl went to court to get her name removed from a pop song. But this statement :

Lahore is the country's most culturally rich and vibrant city, but while known for its liberals, artists, intellectuals and fun-loving people, it is also home to some of the most conservative sections of Pakistani society.

Well... ok. it's odd that a girl with a common name like Praveen could get so uptight about her name. It's not as if you have a copyright to it. But what got me thinking was Really? A city well known for it's fun-loving people? And yet home to ultra conservatives? Oh my. Do I hear one side of the city thinking stuffy old fogies? And the other heathen, hedonistic sinners? lol.


Bet they drive each other bat-shit crazy. What fun!
