Fuck, I got activated! GGgggrrrrrrr.

It's getting to the point where us staff KNOW who the useless, unreliable fuckers who never show up for work are. If we see them on the roster, same day as ourselves, and if we're on standby? Shit, we'll kena. And this ONE girl is slowly building a reputaion. And why yes, I've been activated because of her.

What's with these people? What happened to their sense of responsibility? Do you have problems at home? Do we need to give a fuck? Your problems are YOUR PROBLEMS and should stay out of the office.

Unfortunately, this company I am seconded to functions like a government body in that they never sack anyone. No, they'll keep on employing you until your contract finishes. It sticks us staff, however, in a really shitty place. When you do the full rotating shift and function on a very disturbed sleeping pattern, every additional disruption adds to the sleep loss. :o

This is one of the FEW times I wish I was back in corporate. Non performers get kicked out on their ass and the team is *better* for it.
