Wedding - oh my

Oh my is right.

I'll tell you something... never have the women in my family shopped so much. Of my Mom, me and my sister, only sis likes to shope... you know, the girly things. *wry grin* But crap, we had a family discussion when I came back from work, just now, and all three women are aghast at the thought of fresh shopping for christmas prezzies..........

Only Dad is insisting on presents. Yeah, Dad, you didn't have to shop. lol

But for Jame's wedding? Holy crap, you get the dress. The dress needs to be matched. Exactly. So you shop for somthing EXTREMELY specific. You know what you have in mind but NOTHING is suitable until ahHA! perfect!

On top of that, my Mom got really stressed out by the cake.
That's the wedding fruit cake that's given to guests on the table? Uh huh, my Mom was asked to bake it. Shit, we have 40 tables? Not everyone turned up, ok. And half the settings were given the traditional sugi cake instead. But damn, that's cake baking for 200 people approximately. Yes, she was stressed. Shops ran out of crucial ingredients because an ethnic celebration had just passed and she had to comb the island for thnigs like almond essence. Garh.....

We wish James all the best, with thoughts of a loving, fruitful, contented marriage. But damn, we're glad it's over.

My turn? I'm bloody eloping. heh. On with the pictures!
