WTF.... where did YOU come from?

For the first time in my life, I have a rash.

a R A S H .

Docter says it looks like it might be fungal. I don't know *how* I got it. I was actually woken up by the skin itching one day. So I asked the doc if it was spores-floating-in-the-air sort of fungal? And he said yes, quite possibly. I have not been in a swimming pool, nor shared towels, bedding, clothes or even a hug with anyone.

With the exception of my wee trip to
Bintan last week, I don't know where this has come from. And don't say Bintan. It rained. All 4 days I was there. I pretty much spent most of the 4 days in the balconey of my hotel room.....

This is Quite Sucky. My skin looks like crap and I have to fight the occasional itch. Isn't this sort of thing infectious? I am terribly conscious of where I put my fingers right now. Thank god it's restricted to the right side of my torso. AND THANK GOODNESS I am still single. Otherwise, I'd be quarantining myself from my partner. Sleep on separate bed don't touch me sort of quarantine.

I'll take pictures for you if it doesn't gross me out. lol Sure, it might be common place for you, but this is my first time!

Argh!

JimBob,

What have my tats got to do with the rash?

Skin is largest organ. The environment is full of viruses, bacteria, prions. Tattoo process makes a seive temporarily of skin.
Think entry/transport portal. Rash could be immune reaction to slow growing version of the 'bugs'. Could even be a mild reaction
to the inks. Perfect sterility is hard to come by. I've had a low-level itchiness occuring before warts present themselves. ;-)
There is even IBC. ;-(

JimBob,

Sorry, but I knew all that :)

The tat was done a long time ago by a very reputable artist. This was just a rash that came out of nowhere.

Fortunately, all gone now!
