Ah, some pictures from PorPor's dinner!
The grand ol'dame herself
Some of my cousins cheering her on. Can you find my face tucked away? They always push the grandkids in front but I always manage to skulk near the back lol
The same cousins. Actually, don't they all look rather young? *small sigh*
There's a good 12 - 15 years between me and them.... my siblings and I are the oldest grandchildren on both sides of the family. So whilst PorPor used to ask my mom when I was getting married and having kids (I'm THE Eldest Grandchild) things are slightly better now that (1) she realises I'm not having kids on her behalf (2) my brother got married in 2007 (3) another couisin is getting married this Dec.
So PorPor is happy enough for now :)
My table.... yes, I managed to get *almost* everyone to do the Blue Steel thingie
From left to right : my brother James, sis in law Regina, me, Wati (PorPor's helper), my sister Faith and the Funky Aunty. Of course, my brother doesn't do Blue Steel and Wati.... Wati is indonesian and in a world of her own most times lol
Anyhoo.....
My parents. Hard to look at this pic and imagine that Dad will be 70 next year, eh?
He's already expressed a wish for a beachside bday party, so my sister and I will get cracking on the planning soon enough! Mom is 5 years younger and still looks good too!
And me and my sister wishing PorPor with her prezzie and flowers.
Yes yes, I know... I don't use makeup but when placed next to my sister, I should probably start wearing the stuff lol
Anyways, just thought to share. So generous, you say? Not exactly. lol. Blogging has become more an online diary, in some ways. I want to look back and see the things that happened!
But you're welcome to hop on board anytime :)
