Movie addict

I confess I'm a fan of the movies.
Not just any movie.
But big-bangs-with-intelligent-conversation type movioe.

I'm asking too much, eh?

Bored after work, hadn't been in a cinema for a while. Through dearth of choices, ended up catching Mission Impossible 3. Which I almost gave a miss for, because MI2 was so absolutely insipid and useless. I've only almost walked out of 2 movies and MI2 was one. (the other was UltraViolet)

But I was pleasantly surprised. MI3 was.... watchable. Not Tom Cruise, but because of J.J. Abrams, whom I seem to be taking a shine to. It was a typical weekend movie, which was OK since I do the movies for the whole escapist thingie. :)

I've also just acquiried Harry Potter 4 and the Fantastic Four. Which I have since watched over the last 24 hours from purchase time. heh.

Now I'm waiting for XMen 3, for which I plan to have a movie showing at my place, for Jimmie and Bernie, since I have 1 and just got back 2 from a colleague. Oh, and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, of course!


Would anyone care to recommend anything else?
