Wow. I'm beat.
2 walkies in three days. If I can keep this up, perhaps I can turn it into a habit. Bernie told me it only takes 21 days for a habit to form so I wonder if it will work on this too?
I seem to have done an average of one walkie per week, which is not enough. Am trying to exercise my heart and clear arteries. I haven't taken a single hypertension dose and I'm determined to work this stupid thing out of my system.
I'm also extremely tired from my ridiculous shift schedule for this month. But hey, I figure I'll just walk slower. At least I'm still walking.
Stubborn? Why yes! It's my UNofficial middle name.
Natural introvert, learned extrovert.

In re the BP meds -
I'm arriving late at this party (was on travel last week), but -
Take the blood pressure pills. High blood pressure won't kill you today or tomorrow, but it will make life very unpleasant for you down the line if it isn't controlled.
I have been dieting and exercising to lose weight, and now require less medication to control both blood pressure and diabetes than I once did; I hope to eventually greatly reduce both kinds of medication or even be able to do without it entirely.
But it's *not* just an old-person thing--as you rightly observe below, it runs in families, and it's nothin' to mess around with. While you're working on lifestyle changes, do what the nice doctor tells you and take those meds.
Fiona hypertension is a serious ailment, but if you take your medication and get regular exercize all can be well. It has little to do with one' age. :)
