Wedding - Church

So, from one tradition to another.
And this one was equally important.
After all, one for each set of parent's eh? :)

We set of for the
Church of St Vincent de Paul. It's a really pretty church and it was nestled amongst some really large houses. lol. Anyways, it was an ironic thought at an inopportune time. A Church wedding loomed!

What would a wedding be without flowers? :)

And the alter. So beautiful.

As the immediate family, we had to sit right in front yes? Even as a child and/or teenager, I never ever sat in the front pew. Good catholic kids sit at the back of the church where they can sneal a nap. lol. But a good thing? I had an excellent vantage poit of the proceedings. Bro, give me your best worried look resulted in this. Hilarious.

And awaiting the bride. I don't think James was nervous.... but I was wondering what was going through his mind as he waited for Regina to be walked down the aisle. How proud I was of him that that point in time.... ah, bro!

As they took their vows, Regina was radiant. What a gorgeous bride :)

And the happy couple as they walked out to our applause.

Don't they look wonderful?
There's a small - but treacherous - thought jostling in my mind that's saying I want! I want! when's my turn! lol

And of course, as people gathered at the reception, some people sneaked off for a clandestine photoshoot. lol. That's the Funky Aunty, me and my sister. You won't believe me when I tell you the Funky Aunty is... well.... let's just say that when I'm her age, I want to look that good!!

Wow, 2 thirds of the way done. Wedding dinner to host!
